It’s going to be a “Green” Christmas for the Senate as Greenpeace has lent them a couple of Solar panels to charge up and run the Christmas lights of their Christmas tree.
The thrust however of Greenpeace is to convince the Senate to pass an even more greener renewable energy bill as they feel that the current bill doesn’t have a well defined target for the Philippines in the terms of usage of Alternative Energy. What they are aiming for is at least 10% of the energy requirement of the country be filled by alternative energy resources.
Sighting also that the solar collection rate of the country is one of the highest in the world (most likely because of our location near the equator) as well as our 70,000 MW potential for Wind Power Collection (whoa, that’s high… but is it really so?).

I think this site’s really good, informing people about alternative materials and stuff, to be able to save energy, money, and in fact, the planet too!
