In a study conducted by the National Center for Atmospheric Research, they found out that the effect of a thinning atmosphere due to Carbon Dioxide Emissions results in making it easier to keep objects in space due to less drag from the atmosphere.

However, aside from making it easier to keep stuff in orbit, it will take a while for orbital decay to occur on other objects which are meant to be gobbled up by the atmosphere as part of the life cycle of man made objects in space…
