According to a model generated from data collected by the British Antarctic Survey: this is how the Antarctic would look like without any ice on it and only the actual land mass. Just goes to show how much ice we have on the poles.
According to the model, if the ice all melted, in due time the land mass would rise without the weight of the ice on top of them.
Not something I’d want to see happen in my life time. Chalk that as another bullet for the battle against global warming.
