Middlebury College Ski Program will work together with Native Energy, an energy company with a mission to support renewable energy projects, in order to offset the carbon generated by the NCAA’s regional championship.
Money earned from the event will be used to offset all the emissions generated from the said event. Not covered by them however are the potential carbon to be generated by spectators. The money will be invested in wind and methane power generating projects across the country.
