80px-flag_of_the_philippinessvg.pngFrom the Philippine Weather Bureau (PAGASA), the Philippines should expect a hot summer with April temperatures being just the tip of the iceberg. After summer we are told to expect a 3 month rainy season courtesy of La Nina. Last week the 2007 Philippine record temperature was 36.8 degrees Celsius, a week later it was pegged at 37. This weeks record temperature is still far from the Philippine record of 42.2 deg. Celsius.

logo_40wht.gifFrom the annals of Google’s Holiday Logo’s, here’s a compilation of previous Earth Day inspired logo’s starting from the very first one posted on 2001.

What was surprising to note is that they skipped a year. In 2006 no Earth Day logo was hosted on the 22nd of April when I checked the site. But who’s finding fault eh? Personally I liked 2003 the best, kinda gave it a “We’re not alone in this Universe” feel to it.
