You probably noticed that we’ve been down for quite a few hours. The reason behind that was because we were busy migrating to our new host. So that we could proudly say that we are hosting on green servers.

Our new site is powered by Carbon-Neutral Dreamhost Web Hosting.
According to Dreamhost:
When we learned that running DreamHost generated as much carbon dioxide as 545 average-size homes we realized we had to do something.
So they embarked on a massive 3rd party audit to assess their energy consumption then they offset it with Renewable Energy and Carbon Credits. They are also actively looking for other ways to lower their energy consumption:
We use coffee cups made from fully renewable resources. In the last couple of years we’ve also been deploying many more servers with notoriously power-efficient AMD processors. As processor and server technology continues to evolve we’ll follow the path of power efficiency. It just makes sense!
There might be some bugs that have latched on to the site during the migration, so we hope you patiently bear with us while we sort things out. You could also help report bugs to us via our contact form.
All for the trouble of putting a cute green widget on our site some might say. I can assure you that this wasn’t an impulse of delight on our part
