Father of the Philippine Biofuel’s Bill (in Congress), Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, has filed a bill calling for the phase out of incandescent bulbs by 2010. Great move. Aside from more efficient bulbs, I hope the far reaching effect of this bill will be, that energy efficient bulbs price will go down due to economies of scale.

Hey just for the sake of history. Yesterday was the anniversary of the day that the kyoto protocol took effect. Easier said than done, were still not getting anywhere with saving the environment.

The only great news is that Australia has finally signed on.
