Foreign firm, Global Green Powerr, will start construction of a 15MW Biomass power plant in the province of Iloilo as soon as local leaders give their approval of the project. The proposed plant will use rice straw, corn husks and other agricultural wastes as fuel.
Aside from Iloilo, it also plans to put up similar plants in Capiz and Aklan.
