This will most likely be the first foray of the Alsons Group into renewable energy as they announced that they are planning to setup 3 hydro electric plants in the Visayan region upon approval from the LGU’s.
The group’s power unit has experience in running bunker fuel fed diesel power plants in Mindanao.
The project will be worth P3.8 billion and will be in the Bago River of Negros Occidental. Estimated completion time is 4 years and will generate 40 MW of clean and renewable energy.
