According to Newsweek, the jobs that are flourishing in this economic downturn in the United States are related to health, security, green energy and the environment.
In the clean energy sector, jobs are cropping up related to Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Energy Efficiency, Green Project Managers and Environmental Law Attorneys.
Which doesn’t come as a surprise either as President Obama had repeatedly stated his desire to make the United States energy independent. So it has already been determined that a huge chunk of his economic plan will focus on developing his country’s renewable energy sector as well as bat for more efficiency.
I believe that its very important for countries to strive for energy independence because energy has become a necessity already for a nation to grow, develop and flourish. Energy powers the industries that creates goods and jobs. It provides timely health care that saves lives. I can go on and on about what energy can do to improve the lives of men, but if the source of that energy is choked or controlled, then it stifles that growth. In short they become enslaved to that energy.
Even if a country is not blessed with a huge basic of Fossil Fuel or Coal, they are still blessed with the natural features from which to harness energy from.
