We’ve often wanted to write an article on Global Warming for this site, that gives a summary on what Global Warming and Climate Change is all about, but never found the time to do so. That unfinished article just ended up gathering dust in the draft’s portion of the site, along with some other articles unlucky enough to have not garnered our attention.
Having read New Scientist’s FAQ on Global Warming, I was impressed by the simplicity of the explanation and would recommend others to read it. I have to admit that I had gathered more understanding of the problem after reading this FAQ. Despite it being written in 2006, I still consider the article to be timely.
To quote a childhood cartoon (G.I. Joe) :
“And knowing is half the battle”
If we can get even but a few people to understand the existence of the problem, then there is hope for it to be solved.
