Google has announced that they will be using goats to mow the lawn in their sprawling campus, seriously!
According to their blog, about 200 goats will arrive at their campus and will spend about a week there eating their way through. In order to help corral them, a border collie will be used. They are calling this a low carbon approach because there won’t be any gasoline and noisy lawn mowers. An added benefit to this endeavor is that the goats will be fertilizing as they go along through their week long buffet.
I have to say its a great idea. Funny, but otherwise a great idea.
