Chemrez Philippines, the first publicly listed biodiesel processor in the Philippines, declared a stock dividend and stock buy back plan yesterday. This resulted in a P0.25 increase from its previous day closing price of P4.00/share.

After an ambush on Government troops in the notorious area of Basilan by Muslim Separatists that left 14 Marines killed, then to add further insult to injury, their bodies were beheaded and mutilated by Muslim Terrorists, the Abu Sayyaf. The war has further escalated and displaced families with pursuit operations going full swing in the area.

PhilippinesYou think that with the entry of Typhoon season in the Philippines the country would be worried. The reality is that this year the Philippines is welcoming typhoons with open arms. Not because of the death and destruction that is usually brings, but rather for the strong rains that accompanies it.
